A Northern Soul - my all-time favorite album.  I doubt it will ever be dethroned.

I can't say unitl I listen to FORTH. As for the first three, I don't even have a favorite there. All of them are good in their own way.

But I most say that I enjoy the no come down EP more than any of the albums (well, actually is quite the same).

ASIH - not just my fav Verve album, but my favorite album period.  I must have listened to it every day for 6 or 7 years.  Wish I had the time to now.

I like the way it was...well, you know.

ASIH....ANS.....Son....Daughter....How do you choose? UH is the step child you love, but will never be your own and I haven't known her long enough to know how she'll fit in the family.

A Northern Soul, from the explosive opening 'A New Decade' and 'This is Music' to the majestic 'History', 'Life's an Ocean' and frankly brilliant 'Stormy Clouds'.

Not saying I don't like the other albums, which I do of course, but NS was the album that really got me interested in the Verve.

I stand accused, just like you, for being born without a silver spoon!

Same here, followed very closely by ANS and after that jointly UH and Richard's solo albums.

Just like you Mover!

Edit: Just realised I missed out Forth - I would slot that one in alongside ANS.

So I have only listened the first three FORTH tracks and I'm already starting to feel like it could be my favorite verve album ever (in other words, my favorite album ever).

So, I want to vote for FORTH in this poll, but I can't do it until I listen to the whole thing in a week (I won't be listening the rest this week because some terrible things have happen to me this last two days and I don't want to asociate the album with those memories each time I listen to it).

Oh, don't worry, I'm ok....for now.

But I'm starting to feel like I need to listen the album, but I just don't want it to remind me to this damn week. Lets see how much more can I resist
