Hi everyone. Just thought i'd let you know i'm selling my whole Verve collection, (apart from some rare photo's I seem to have misplaced somewhere) on ebay here :

http://shop.ebay.co.uk/merchant/you_set_the_scene

It's taken me years to put together, but unfortunately it's all got to go. I've got some awesome stuff - UK 1st Presses of all the LP's, an original genuine blue vinyl Voyager One, countless promos, UH Hymn Book, ANS fold out promo with cards, white label test presses e.t.c.

A 99p start on everything (apart from one) - hope you find something that takes your fancy!

Thanks for looking...

Interesting, thanks. (I like the Northern Soul stuff).

Voyager 1 is a bit pricey!
How come there's a Voyager 1 CD ? I take it, it's just a copy of Voyager 1 ?

I've shaved £50 off Voyager One. If I believe, it will sell

Check this out :

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAP...em&rd=1&item=160258785208

So it IS possible!

I think the Voyager One CD is a copy, I bought it from a market stall. That CD has soundtracked many a smoke!

I'm selling it all as i'm starting my own label and making my own record, and i'm gonna need a massive amount of cash to market the thing.

Thanks for your interest everyone!

Yeah, I saw that Voyager 1 auction go for that amount of money, just assumed the bidding had got out of hand (as it sometimes does!).  (Maybe I'll start thinking about selling my spare copy!)
Yeah, I thought that cd had to be a copy...

Good luck with your label and your record, I'll keep my eye on a few of your items.

You should RAISE the price of that bad boy.  LW will buy it, and pay thru the nose - she hoards them.  The walls of the Ashcroft II are littered with them.

lucky woman, we have to dicuss some things, i'll pm you later

voyager 299?
last one that was on ebay went for about 150

and the p&p is a rip-off, sorry.
might be ok for LPs, but for cassettes and CDs - that's more than 3 times of what it actually costs to send the stuff.

Actually you're wrong. I haven't got an untold amount of money for stuff like that and wouldn't pay that price even if I did. I bought one, then when two more came up (at different times) on ebay with absolutely NO interest in them whatsoever and no-one bidding on them I bought them at a reasonable price. Ok, I'm a bit crazy, I didn't like to see something so rare with no-one bidding. I didn't deprive any other fans from having them. On the contary, I've just sold one of them for what I paid for it knowing they've increased in value but not wishing to make a profit for myself.  And none of them are on the walls either, I have only pictures and posters on my walls.

So get stuffed Mover.

I'm not sure I'm ready to part with my second copy yet, but I'll give you first refusal when I am.
I'll give it some thought.

Voyager One will be worth a fortune in years to come, I promise you.

I know p&p is a bit high, but you gotta understand I paid like over £30 each for every single one of those promos, and i'm not sure if i'll get that back, PLUS ebay and paypal fees are mean mean!

i think you should use a higher starting bid in that case (to cover for ebay/paypal fees), that's not what p&p is for.

but then, at least the p&p is stated clearly, and people who don't want to pay that are not FORCED to bid.

Well, you don't pay ebay fees on p&p so a lot of ebayers use it as a means of increasing their price and paying less fess. (rightly or wrongly, but I've never done it, it seems to p*ss ppl off!).

I was once interested in some some glass bottles from china for 99p until I noticed the p&p was £99. (I'm sure it wouldn't have cost that, even from China!
